National entry quotas and qualified skaters for the Olympic Winter Games 2002:

Olympic Qualification status 3000 m Ladies as of January 15, 2002


After the Essent ISU Speed Skating World Cup competitions in Heerenveen, January 11-13, 2002 
the national entry quotas for the 32 start positions in the 3000 m for Ladies at the 2002 
Olympic Winter Games have been settled as follows:

The above entry quotas are final. 
However, if some NOCs do not make use of their full entry quotas, vacant start positions 
may be transferred to other countries as indicated in the reserve list. 



Skaters eligible to compete:

Within its entry quota an NOC (ISU Member) may enter any skater with Olympic qualification 
rank 32 or better according to the enclosed list. 
Among the entries from an NOC (ISU Member) there may be maximum one skater who is not listed 
among the top 32 in the Olympic qualification ranking.
However, such a skater must then have reached the Olympic qualifying time standard of 
4.30,00 in a competition meeting the requirements listed in ISU Communication No. 1132.

After the Essent ISU Speed Skating World Cup competitions in Heerenveen, January 11-13, 2002 
the national entry quotas for the 32 start positions in the 5000 m for Men at the 2002 
Olympic Winter Games have been settled as follows:
