ISU EXPRESSES ITS SINCERE REGRETS
The President Ottavio Cinquanta, the Council and the Members of the International Skating Union express their deepest sympathy to the people of the United States, shocked and grieved by the brutal tragedy caused by the horrifying acts of terrorism with which they were stricken yesterday.
On behalf of the ISU family, President Ottavio Cinquanta has addressed messages of sincere regret to the Presidents of two ISU Member Federations in the United States, to the Office Holders and to American colleagues and friends of the ISU. He has also addressed words of sympathy to the President of the U.S. Olympic Committee, the President and CEO of the Salt Lake Organizing Committee for the Olympic Winter Games of 2002 and to the Presidents of the ISU's television and commercial partners in the United States.
Our hearts and thoughts go out to the victims and their families.
