The ISU Ice Dance Technical Committee in cooperation with the ISU Coaches Commission and under the auspices and financial support of the ISU Development Commission will be holding a Seminar for Novice/Junior European Dance Coaches and their couples in:
Providing sufficient applications are received.
GOAL:
PROGRAM:
The Seminar will cover the following topics:
PARTICIPANT:
Applications for Coaches to attend will be accepted on a "first-come-first served" basis.
Coaches from European Members, up to a limit of 40 may apply. More coaches per Member may be admitted should number permit.
Couples from European Members up to a limit of 20 couples may apply (either one Novice or one Junior couple per Member).
MODERATORS:
The following Moderators will participate to the course:
EXPENSES:
The Development Commission would fund the following:
1. The ISU Development Program will pay the living expenses (room and meals) for up to 40 participating Coaches and up to 20 Couples from dinner on Tuesday July 16th to lunch on Sunday July 21st, 2002.
2. There will be no charge for the Seminar itself.
3. If the total of participating Coaches is less that 40, the ISU Development Program will also pay the above mentioned expenses for additional coaches from the same Member with first priority being given according to the date on which the application is received at the ISU Secretariat.
Travel expenses to and from Budapest shall be borne by the Member of the coach/couple concerned.
ARRIVAL OF PARTICIPANTS:
The Seminar will commence with an opening reception and dinner at 15.00 hours on July 16th at the official Hotel.
Reservations for participants will be made at this Hotel.
END OF SEMINAR:
The Seminar will conclude at 15:00 hours on Sunday July 21st.
EQUIPMENT REQUIRED:
Coaches are requested to bring their skates for the on-ice activities.
They are also required to bring a copy of the ISU Special Regulations Ice Dance (2000).
APPLICATION PROCESS AND DEADLINE:
Applications by Members, or individual Coach, should be sent by post, fax or e-mail to the ISU Secretariat with a copy to the Secretary of the Hungarian Skating Federation and must be received not later than June 30th.
Copies of these applications will be sent by the ISU Secretariat to the Ice Dance Technical Committee and to the Chairperson of the Coaches Commission.

CONFIRMATION OF PARTICIPATION:
Confirmation of acceptance of the application will be sent to the Member and the Coach concerned by the ISU Secretariat as soon as possible after the closing date of applications: June 30th.
The ISU Ice Dance Technical Committee and ISU Coaches Commission and the Development Commission would be grateful if Members enthusiastically recommend the Seminar to their Coaches in the interest of making this first Novice/Junior Coaches Seminar - Europe, a great success.
