Andrej Kiforenko (UKR) won the Men's competition in front of Alexei Vasilevsky (RUS) and teammate Alexandr Smokvin (UKR). Fedor Andreev (CAN), fourth here, leads the point ranking with 18 points after two events, followed by Smokvin (UKR) with 16.
Viktoria Volchkova (RUS) won in the Ladies' competition but it is still Daria Timoshenko (RUS), which tops the overall rankings with 24 points after two events, followed by two Russian teammates, Nikolaeva and Volchkova at 15 points but only one event.
Yulia Obertas and Dmitry Palamarchuk (UKR) won the Pair’s event, in front of a home crowd after being led in the short program by Elena Bogospasaeva and Oleg Ponomarenko (RUS) who finished second after the free program. The Ukrainian couple now top the overall rankings with 30 points after two events.
The third gold medal for Ukraine came from the Ice Dance couple Kristina Kobaladze and Oleg Voiko. They now top the overall rankings with Flavia Ottaviani and Massimo Scali (ITA) Federica Faiella and Luciano Milo (ITA) and Tatiana Kurkudym and Yury Kocherzhenko (UKR), all with 15 points.
